“For over 40 years ‘Lean on me’ has lifted the hearts and spirits of millions of people across the globe. With a beautiful melody and simple lyrics we are reminded that our strength for humanity is in each other. Music is the universal language and 'Lean on me' is the call to action to save the lives of children around the world who need our help. One Love.”
Playing For Change (PFC) is a global multimedia movement created to inspire, connect and bring peace to the world through music. Originators of "Songs Around The World" music videos, the PFC crew takes the recording studio to the streets, capturing musicians playing live outside in their home countries. Songs like "Stand By Me" and "One Love" are now worldwide video hits. The crew gathered musicians during their travels to form the PFC Band, showcasing the talent of 10 musicians from 8 countries. They also created the Playing For Change Foundation, a separate non-profit organization that provides music education to underprivileged children throughout nine countries.
